The designer had a style she, too late in the process, wanted to include in her collection. To be able to keep the timeline she had to give up the prototype and go straight to production sample.
For her this was both too risky and too uncertain.
So instead she sent me the tech pack and I developed a 2D pattern and a 3D sample.
Afterwards, we did a virtual fitting together and I sent her a complete and detailed 3D look that could be used for sales material and as a reference sample.
All of this took me less than a week and therefore it was possible for her to keep her timeline and get all the samples she needed before production.
